At New Life, we have a four-fold purpose that we try to accomplish in everything we do:

Worship

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations.”   Psalm 100:4-5

Worship can take many forms: serving, singing, giving, obedience, etc., as long as our motivation is love for God.  Our Creator deserves our adoration and dedication, not just when we come together corporately, but throughout our lives.

Instruction

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.”  Acts 2:42

The Christian life is an ongoing journey.  God’s Word is incredibly deep, and as long as we still walk this earth, we ought to strive to grow in knowledge and faith with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Fellowship

“Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:25

We don’t believe you have to attend church to be a Christian, but we do believe strongly that God has provided the church as an important tool in the life of the believer.  We learn from each other, support each other, and can accomplish much more together than we can by ourselves.  No one should make this journey alone.

Evangelism

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,”   Matthew 28:19

This was one of Jesus’ last commands to his followers and is still vital for us today.  As people who have experienced God’s wonderful grace and life of freedom, we strive to share God’s truth with those who still need to hear, both locally and across the globe.
